- We will not go more than 10% over your estimate without your OK (Washington RCW 46.71)

Your rights as a Washington customer
Washington's Automotive Repair Act (RCW 46.71) gives you these protections:
- You can ask for a written estimate before work begins, and the work you authorize is recorded
- The final bill cannot exceed the estimate by more than 10% unless you approve the increase
- You can ask for your replaced parts back when you authorize the repair (some parts, like warranty or core exchanges, may have to be returned to the supplier)
- You get an itemized invoice that lists parts and labor separately
This is a plain-language summary, not legal advice. See RCW 46.71 for the full text.
