FAQ
Mobile mechanic FAQ
Answers to the questions Spokane drivers ask most about mobile repair with Farrell's Automotive.
Do you have a holiday special?
Yes. First-time customers get 50% off their first diagnostic and travel fee. The discount covers only the diagnostic and travel fee, not repairs or labor. The offer ends January 1, 2027.
What vehicles do you work on?
We work on all makes and models, foreign and domestic, including trucks, vans, diesels, and 4x4s, and specialize in German and Japanese imports like Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Subaru, Toyota, Honda, and Acura. Aaron's specialty is troubleshooting and diagnostics. Kaila's specialty is customer service and wrenching skills.
Can I drop my car off after hours?
Yes. After-hours drop-offs are welcome: leave your car in the lot anytime, day or night. Call or text first so we know it's coming, and we will share the drop-off location.
Are you really open 24/7?
Yes. Farrell's Automotive takes calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including emergency service at night and on weekends. For non-urgent work we will book a time that suits you.
Where do you work on my car?
Wherever the car is: your driveway, the street outside your home, an apartment or work parking lot, or the roadside if it is safe. We just need a reasonably level spot and permission to work there.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Spokane and serve Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Cheney, Mead, Airway Heights, Millwood, Medical Lake, and other nearby parts of Spokane County. We also serve Deer Park, Elk, Newport, and Chewelah in Washington, and Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Hayden Lake, Spirit Lake, Sandpoint, and Priest River in North Idaho. If you are farther out, ask anyway. We confirm travel when you book.
How much does a repair cost?
Labor is $125/hr, and common jobs are quoted as a flat-rate price from book time. See our pricing page for trip, diagnostic, and after-hours rates. You get an estimate before any work starts, and nothing extra is done without your OK.
Do you work on Subarus and turbo cars?
Yes. We handle high-performance Subaru turbo work, including WRX and STI models, boost leaks, turbo diagnostics, and maintenance for turbocharged engines.
What jobs can't be done in a driveway?
Some repairs need a lift, an alignment rack, or specialty equipment, such as transmission replacement, major engine work, or alignments. If your job is one of them, we will tell you up front and help you plan the next step.
Do I need to be there during the repair?
We will need to meet you or have the keys arranged, and we need to reach you for approval if anything changes. Many customers stay at work or inside the house while we work.
How do I book?
Call or text (208) 352-3692, email admin@farrellsautomotive.com, or use the request form on our Contact page. Include your vehicle's year, make, and model, what is going on, and where the car is.
